I had planned ahead, had hired a talented photographer - my book cover designer Silmara Emde to do the work. Then I travelled too much. Then she moved city. Then the pandemic hit. Then I travelled more… Months became years… Finally, my partner Tim Melanchuk, the book’s main character of sorts, took up the task and made it!
